I-LINC Webinar: Students taking their future in their hands through entrepreneurial learning
Date: Monday, 5 November 2018
Time: 17:30h (CET)
Young generations will live in an era of globalization that will demand mobility and soft skills. Our current education system needs to adapt to such challenges. Schools should enable young people to develop the mind set and skills they need for life and work and inspire their entrepreneurial potential. Being entrepreneurial means being active, initiative, turn ideas into action, create value and improve the world we live in.
In this webinar Slovak teacher and teacher trainer Kornelia Lohynova will introduce some lesson ideas and activities to develop entrepreneurship competencies as they are defined in the EntreComp framework. Participants will learn how to apply entrepreneurial learning for any age group and subject and how to integrate it into education with the help of ICT tools.
Kornelia Lohynova is a teacher of Hotel Management, Tourism Business and Economy at Hotel Academy in Bratislava. She is also a teacher and teacher trainer of Junior Achievement entrepreneurial programs. Kornelia is a moderator of an eTwinning group, "Entrepreneurship in Education" with more than 3,000 members. She created an Entrepreneurial learning toolkit for teachers "EntreLearn".
The webinar will take place on Monday 5 November at 17:30h CET in the platform Adobe Connect.
