Link to the future. Youth. Internet. Career
The project is aimed at supporting young people from small towns in planning their future careers in a comprehensive and unconventional way, taking the development of the information society and the knowledge-based economy into account.
This is part of the "Link to the Future. Youth. Internet. Career" project financed by Microsoft under the YouthSpark initiative and by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation (three editions since 2012).
All over Poland, primarily in libraries, high school and junior high school students have been offered an opportunity to talk to young, inspiring IT professionals, learn how they became successful and find out about the role of new technologies in their job. In two first editions more than 20.000 students aged 15-19 participated in more than 800 meetings. The third edition started in mid-2014.
