For centuries and generations, we have seen work and employment in a deliberate and non-deliberate shift. Today, we are once again debating the direction, extent and pace of the technological achievements, and the ever-changing economic landscape that will change both the quantity and the quality of work.

More importantly, we need to think about and negotiate the way we work in the future. We need to question the old recipes for managing employment, social security, development, and matching the skills.

The Future of Work: Making It e-Easy brings together social partners, policy makers, academics and others to address strategic readiness to capitalise on the opportunities offered by digitalisation, automation and the readiness to shape work in a way that benefits employees, employers and society as a whole.
